    Sisters4Sisters, Inc. is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to the Empowerment of Women and Girls in Mind, Body, and Spirit through Educational, Personal, and Professional Development Workshops and Engaging Community Outreach in the areas of HIV-AIDS, Domestic & Sexual Violence, Girls Mentoring, Homelessness and Health & Wellness.

    Dr. Carolyn White-Washington

    Founder-Visionary

    For 23 years Carolyn has sacrificed her heart and soul to help women and girls WIN in life. After graduation from Howard University she became a Presidents Club recipient in her professional career in Marketing and Sales with companies including Xerox, Verizon and Cidera Satellite Communications.

    Carolyn's passion for the underserved to WIN has been the catalyst which has opened her creativity in developing unique prorams designed to engage and empower Women and Girls.

    Valerie Battle

    Operations Director

    Valerie has been the key to organizing annual Sisters4Sisters,Inc projects fro The Annual Backpack Drive, Silent Tears No More and Possibiliteas. Valerie is a retiree after 30 years of management with a government agency. Her gift of order and excellence has been an asset to the organization for over 15 years.

    Maggy Alexander Lewis

    SOS Outreach Director

    Ms Lewis has served as the volunteer Director of the Saving Our Sisters Program since 2011. She has worked closely with the Founder, Carolyn Washington to launch many successful campaigns that include our Lunch and Learn series for Women and Girls HIV Awareness Day in March and the Rock the Red Carpet event for World AIDS Day which has morphed into the Rock the Arts program. Most recently, and due mostly to the pandemic, she developed a program called Couch Conversations. These virtual programs are designed to educate and empower the community on issues that directly affect their quality of life

    Diane Ables

    Ambassador- Partner Relations Director

    Diane brings a wealth of experience to the Sisterhood. Her classic style and heart for the underserved has been a beacon of light and hope to the organization. Diane has worked in the Prince Georges County School system after her retirement of 30 years in the Federal Government. She has been a proud member of Sisters4Sisters,Inc. for 10 years.

    Daughters of Destiny

    Camp Possibiliteas- Mentoring

    It Takes a Village to Raise a Daughter

    Mentoring program for girls age 8-15. This is a highly interactive, positive outreach program dedicated to empowering positive self-esteem and confience, safe dating choices, anti-bullying education and mentoring. Daughters of Destiny includes Camp Possibiliteas, annual Possibiliteas, field trips and monthly workshops

    The LOVE (Leave Out Violence Everyday)Movement

    Together We Can End Domestic&Sexual Violence

    Every 9 seconds a woman is abused. This movement is committed to bringing awareness and resources and services to Women, Girls and families whose lives have been impacted by Domestic and Sexual Violence. Povide workshops on Health Relationships, Red Flag Awareness and shares messages on high schools, college campuses, radio and media platforms to educate the community on awareness, education and prevention. Also provides emergency food, clothing and resources for those escaping abused. Opened a virtual save space The House of Love to provide gift cars, resources and direct services for thos escaping abuse.

    SOS (Saving Our Sisters from HIV-AIDS)

    Educating- Testing and Preventing HIV-AIDS in our Community through Awareness and Community Outreach and Engagement

    while reducing the stigma

    This SOS Campaign provides Awareness, Education and Testing for Women, Girls and Families. SOS host interactive workshops including Women and Girls HIV-AIDS Day, Rock the RED Fashion Show, National Black HIV-AIDS Day, World AIDS Day and National HIV-AIDS Testing Day

    The Harriet Tubman Homeless Project

    Touching the Lives of Women in Transition & Homeless Directly

    Special Outreach Campaign providing essentials including life skills, training, personal development, undergarments, clothing, emergency food, pampers and sister support to women in transition.from Domestic Violence, Homelessness- Health Crisis and other forms of Life Trauma.

    Serving shelters, homeless women and families residing in hotels and safe housing.

    Empowering Personal & Professional Development

    Complimentary Educational and Enrichment Workshops designed to Encourage, Inspire and Impact the lives of Women. Employment Referrals, Professional Clothing and Make-over, Resume Support, Job Readiness- Awareness on Women and Mental Health and Heart Health Education.

    Pathways to PossibiliTEAS

    Enrichment & Engagementt Program for Vulnerable Women & Girls

    The vision of Pathways to Possibilities (PtP) is to empower and equip women and families in transition from domestic violence and alternative living situations with the tools they need to continue to prosper, excel and thrive. The Mission of Pathways to Possibilities is to provide self-identified support systems and educational opportunities to program participants in order to help guide them through and to successful lives after traumatic and life-changing events.
